The construction of low cost houses has received a boost with the National Housing Corporation set to shed its high street image by venturing into rural areas and suburban zones.
NHC has announced a Sh50 million initial commitment to finance property or unserviced plots away from major towns where most developers, running away from high land costs around the city, are focusing on.
